Why did you choose to enter this work?
Since I began working as an illustrator, I have read many books, but Virginia Woolf’s writing has influenced me the most. *A Room of One’s Own* completely transformed the way I see the world.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
I like the way this poster communicates its message—it is direct and focused. Every element in the image is devoted to expressing my understanding of Virginia Woolf and my admiration for her.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
This was the first piece I created after coming to SCAD. Being shortlisted reminds me that I should trust my abilities and believe that I can achieve my full potential.
